  1. I love the “Love Boat”-style opportunities for stories your La Bonne Chance resort creates. I’ve never been to Vegas, but I’m sure if I went I would be a fly on the wall and use it in my writing, like M.J., and be happy that everyone else was enjoying myself.

  2. Great blog, Tara, and looking forward to tremendous reads in ALL IN FOR LOVE as I’m sure each and every story has its own special zing to it. I so enjoyed each author’s response to the interesting interview questions. Loved them all. Very interesting and can’t wait to read this sure-to-be-marvelous boxed set.

  3. Good morning, Zara, et. al! Thanks for having us today!
Enjoyed reading everyone’s stories! Now I understand why Sharon knows so much about cooking and the hotel business. It certainly comes through in her story! Keta- when I got my Serena from the Humane Society, she wouldn’t stop meowing and rubbing against the cage. I had to get her out of there. She’s sitting by me right now. My husband, who wasn’t a cat person, adores her, too. Kat- a loved one was assaulted and I recognize how important it is for that nurse to be good at what she does and minimize any further trauma. I appreciate people like you who do their job well, no matter the field. Margo, like you I predominately write romantic suspense and contemporary romance (although I’ve also strayed into chick lit, fairy tale romance, and sci-fi romance). The double pull on the heart in a romantic suspense story, from the heartache and danger, is addictive! Both as a writer and a reader. Lashanta, you’re going to kill me, but thus far, (knock on computer screen), I haven’t had any problems with writer’s block. It’s more finding the time to write down all of the stories inside of me. People keep insisting I eat, and do laundry, and that stuff, so I have to fight for time to write! When I wrap a scene, though, I’ll often walk away, take a bath, and regroup for the next scene.

Thanks, everyone! Have a fabulous day!

  4. What enjoyable questions and answers, ladies. You all have wonderful personal experiences to share~~Sharon, your description of the Motel 6 stay in a blizzard brought back memories of me and my van of college journalists getting stranded in a snowstorm. Luckily there was one motel in the tiny town by the freeway where we had to stop–the highway was closed behind us as we drove off.
This collection sounds intriguing. Best of luck with it.

  5. Linda, as with most aspects of life, sometimes you just have to roll with what works for you. Like you and Lashanta, I’ll dry up for a time and the words just don’t happen then, all of a sudden they do!

  6. How awesome that you gals got together for this wonderful selection! Kat Doran, as a Crime Scene Investigator, I have waited many times for an Assault Nurse who lived 50 miles away! I totally respect your contributions.

Margo, I fully understand why you write contemporary. Historicals called to me one night, and that was it, I was hooked!

LaShanta, thanks so much for your candor in describing those “dry” patches! I have the same issues. I’ll go two weeks with nothing and then sit and do four thousand words in a clip. Glad to know I’m not alone.

    1. Hi Linda
thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. My work as a SANE was a long time coming and while I did it, thoroughly enjoyed helping victims of sexual assault achieve the comfort they deserve. It’s sorta like playing Nancy Drew.

  8. I’m with Margo and Sharon–bring on the questions. I’m always ready to run my mouth.
Thanks for having us, Zara. It’s been a pleasure.
